Colour

Six greens.

A single hue family from near-black to off-white. Lime is not part of the ramp: it belongs to product interfaces, and it is the only saturated colour we use.

Proportion

Roughly 56% cream, 24% bone, 12% ink, 5% deep, 2% sage, 1% lime. A page that is mostly olive or mostly sage is off, even when every value in it is correct.

No lime buttons

Primary is ink on light grounds and cream on dark ones. Lime also fails contrast as text: use #4D6B16 when the accent has to be a word.

No bone on bone

Cards need a lighter ground than the section they sit in. Sage is a label colour and never body copy.

Type

Open Sans.

One family carries the brand, with a monospace for labels. Open Sans is free, on Google Fonts, and available on every platform we publish to.

Headlines

Medium weight, sentence case, ending in a full stop. Tracking tightens as the size grows; lines sit close, just under single spacing. Never bold: extrabold headlines belong to the old identity.

Body

Regular weight at comfortable reading size, lines set open at roughly one and a half. Keep a line to about sixty characters, however wide the page is.

Labels

Monospace, uppercase, widely letterspaced, in sage. Used for eyebrows above a headline, captions and anything that reads as data. Short phrases only.

Buttons

Bold, uppercase, lightly letterspaced. The only other place uppercase is allowed.

Numbers

Extrabold for figures that carry a claim. Tabular figures wherever numbers line up in a column, so the digits stay aligned.
